Crossdressers are normal. You can it everyday on streets when a girl dresses up as a guy all the time. It's common. I do agree male-to-female crossdressers aren't well-accepted in society. Whereas, female-to-male crossdressers on street are well-respected as tomboys.

If you see it as only fun, no one will stop you. There're crossdressers who are straight guys and love girls. It's only a problem if you are confused about your gender.
